Hey Guys Today is something a little different. I recently build a gaming pc and had a disconnection issue using the Commander pro fan hub. Ive found a fix t
Commander pro cant control fan speed. Click Device settings and set ports to 3pin or 4 pin, the fans should show up in the cooling tab after 30 seconds if not restart icue. It can’t!
LL Fans/Commander Pro Not Working Correctly. I have (6) LL fans connected to an RGB LED/Fan hub that is connected to a Commander Pro. Fan operation is fine. Issue is the LED function on fans 4-6. No matter what profile, sometimes fans 4 through 6 will not show the correct pattern. It is like they are not getting all the information.
It should work. You could do a full power down of the system and try to boot it back up. First time I booted my CoPro with a H100i plugged in, it wasn't detected. Try swapping headers between the capellix and the commander pro. Note that it is easy to plug devices offset by one pin on the commander pro USB header.
Here’s how: Make sure iCUE is closed. You can press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to bring up Task Manager to verify. On your keyboard, press Win+R (the Windows logo key and the R key). In the popped up Run box, type or paste %appdata% and click OK. Cut the Corsair folder and paste it on your Desktop as a backup.
Is it possible you really have: 1) Commander Core (6 PWM/6 RGB ports) from the H150i Elite Capellix box. 2) LCD top you purchased. 3) Lighting Node Core that came with the QL. The Commander Core + LCD top not being detected is a relatively common issue. Try taking them off the splitter and connect each individually.
ZCZWbi. Connect the USB cable for the RGB controller to a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard or connect it to the commander pro assuming you have the USB cable for the commander Pro hooked up to a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. OF course, make sure the pump, commander pro (if being used) & RGB controller are connected to SATA power.
Commander Pro's USB 2 port has one port unconditionally dead whether the extension function is not working properly. So, I bought an NZXT hub and connected 2 AIO USB jacks and 1 node core to it, and the Commander Pro is connected to the main board and only the front USB port of the case is connected and used. It's all working now.

The EK ddc pwm pump uses a molex for ground and 12v and a fan header for pwm signal input and tach output. The fan header from the pump is connected to one of the fan inputs on the commander pro. In the corsair link software, i am able to see the pump, but it is stuck at minimum speed (shows it is running at 1255rpm and the rpm range is 1255 to
Just plug it into one of the Commander Pro’s ports. A powered fan splitter is actually a pretty decent idea, although I never mentioned a three or four way splitter in each port for the commander Pro. As Nick said, the Commander Pro supports up to 4.5 Amps total in all six of the fan headers.
